I suggest you look at the UI of SlimTasks. No offence, but it has, IMHO, a much smoother and usable interface. I'm not talking about pretty icons 'n stuff (though that would help too); I'm talking about the number of clicks, the size & location of buttons, and when key actions become available.
SlimTasks doesn't sync with google tasks, but it has just about equivalent functionality.
Another app that has a surprisingly good UI is FocusTodo.

No, all versions of GeeTasks support nesting and reordering.

Make sure sort order is set to sort:none in the bottom-left corner

Make sure you pressed "Edit" button.

Instead of simply flicking the task, try pressing your finger and then sliding it after a short delay.

Let me know if it still doesn't work for you.

What happened most likely is that you have Sort order set to something like "Title". When you sort by title (or anything else) you can't manually reorder the tasks.

To fix this scroll all the way down and press "Sort:…" button until you see "Sort:none". After that you should be able to reorder tasks as the movie above shows.

I will make it more user-friendly in the next update.

First i have to complement you on the app!!
I was using Awesome Notes. I love that also because you can pimp it 8-)
The only thing that was missing in Awesome Notes, was the thing that your app does great, adding an e-mail in a task!!!!
Because we live in world with a lot of e-mails with tasks in it, a good todo app. should have this option.

Now my question regarding subtasks. I use the Eisenhower/Covey quadrants for priority.
I have made 4 tasklists in Google Tasks
When i start GeeTasks I see the lists:
1. urgent and Important
2. not urgent but important
3. urgent but not important
4. not urgent and not important
When i click on a list my tasks show up in Geetask but when i click on ''edit'
my screen looks diffrent as the flash movie above.
I can't move the items left/right or up/down.

Is this because om my use of lists, or because i don't use the professional Geetasks?
Warm regards and keep up your great work!!!!
Eric, The Netherlands

I think the most obvious feature missing here is the ability to collapse a list of sub- tasks from
Shopping
- eggs
- bread
- milk
to
shopping[+]
other lists[+]
love the program - this list feature is a no-brained. Keep up the good work.

You would need to create a regular task and then move it in place as shown in below.
There have been requests for a more direct way to create sub-tasks, but I haven't figured out a way to do it (the UI) and there are other things I want to work on right now.
