Task box was appearing on top of gmail inbox, yet has now disappeared.

I've used Geetasks for years now (2?), and I swear this used to work. But, an update or 2 ago it appears that if you create an indented/subtask then the due date of the top task doesn't get counted for the task count on the badge. So, if you have a task that is due, and create an indented subtask under it, it no longer counts for the badge.
Sort still works for those items.
Is this a known bug?

How do i utilize multiple gmail accounts with Geetask, so thta thye don;t see each other?
eg.: one for my girlfriend and myself, and one for my business?
