Settings for tasks count on the app icon do not correlate to tasks count in the apps "lists" view. For example: if i set the app icon to indicate tasks due today AND tomorrow the "lists" view will not take this into account. If i had a total of 10 tasks, 2 due today and 1 tomorrow, the app indicator would correctly state "3" while the lists view would show 2/10. Could this be fixed so I don't have to go hunting for those tasks due tomorrow? Furthermore, could you add an option for "tasks due in the next week"? Thanks so much Denis!

Re making per-list task count aware of the app-icon setting - this makes a lot of sense, why didn't I think of that? I have added this to my to-do list, it should get done soon.
Now about due next week - do you mean due within 7 days, or due before next Monday? Or before Sunday?
Hmmm…. good point. I would say both due within 7 days and due before the coming Sunday would be super handy. I guess I was originally thinking due within 7 days though.
Is it possible to have the count/ badge update automatically? Currently the app needs to be running but it would be very useful if it can use the multi-tasking/ background processing in iOS4. I find it difficult to know what tasks are due unless I deliberately check the app.
Hi Sid. Despite what the name would have you believe "background" apps on iOS4 do not actually run in the background. Only GPS and Voice Chat (VOIP) apps are allowed to actually run, all other apps are simply frozen in memory until you switch back to them. Therefore it is not possible to sync in the background, with any frequency.
