Just bought the Pro version of GeeTasks and it performs as promised. I'm pretty happy with using this on my iPod Touch. One problem I'm having: I have both a personal email account and a work account that uses Google Apps. I use tasks on each of these accounts. I'd love it if GeeTasks Pro allowed me to configure both of these accounts simultaneously. I can switch back and forth, but it requires me retyping my account information over and over again.

And yes, I suppose I could buy both the Pro version and the regular version, but I'd prefer not to.

Hi Nicholas.

Dual-account support will be implemented in GeeTasksPro, however right now I am busy with other things such add/remove list so this will be some time before I get to it.
Not that many people have the problem you describe, hence the lower priority.

I have the same request for that feature! I hope this moves it up the priority list a bit.

In my case, one account for personal, one for professional, and one for family (which is shared).

I would also find this feature very useful. I have a work gmail account (different domain) and a personal gmail account. I have yet to find an app that supports this, but as soon as there is one available i will purchase it. Please let me know when this app supports multiple accounts.

I want this feature to. Here's my dilemma. Me and my wife using the same domain for our family and I have not yet found a nice app for sharing lists, notes and groceryshopping between two iPhones. It needs to sync fast, easy to manage and a web app. This app has all this but no sharing. You could wish for more functionality from Google like sharing and notifications. If you deside to implent dual accounts in Pro version, is it gonna be possible to switch between two domain accounts? Or just gmail - domain account? I just wanted you to know that there's another fellow who wants the feature.

Hi Jörn.

There are couple of workarounds I can suggest you could use right now:

  • Create an account both_of_us@JörnAndHisWife.com and only use it to store tasks. That way you can provision GeeTasksPro on both your iPhones with this account. Of course then you won't be able to have your own tasks not accessible to your wife. :-)
  • Create an account Jömoc.liamg|efiWsiHdnAnr#moc.liamg|efiWsiHdnAnr, and only use it to store tasks. Purchase additional GeeTasks (standard) and set it up on both your and your wife's phone with this GMail address. Continue using GeeTasksPro for your personal tasks. On the downside it will cost you $3 more.

I haven't decided yet on which types of accounts will be supported for GeeTasksPro, but I will certainly take your input into account.

Thanks for your answer. I have considerd those alternatives. And I'll think it's easier to make a Gmail account. That way you can be logged in at the same time at the computer. Both domain and Google account.

Also, you may want to have a look at my other app http://www.memengo.com - it lets you install one app on each iPhone and sync it to http://www.memengo.com web site, from which you can also edit and view notes of various formats.

Support for multiple accounts is essential for me. I have two companies that I maintain separate tasks list for (each in their own google apps accounts) and I have a third personal task list (hosted on my personal account — a gmail address).

I also need to be able to access multiple accounts. I have my personal gmail account as well my work email routed through another gmail account. I would like to be able to access both task lists on geetasks instead of having to choose one account. Thanks.

As a temporary measure may I suggest installing GeeTasksLite - it costs nothing and you can use it with a different account than GeeTasks, as well as GeeTasks itself.

Hi,

I would also be interested in this feature. Come October my employer will be switching to Google Apps and as I currently use it for my personal Goggle App domain I would need to login/out each time.

Same here. Personal gmail tasks and my employer's google apps domain tasks. I don't like my guys mixed in with their guys.
