Wow… what a day. I am having some crazy issues with Google Tasks
and I think I have narrowed GeeTasks down to the cause… maybe…
PROBLEM: Every time I try to access my Task list in Gmail, Google
Calendar, or Canvas view I can view the tasks that are on there fine,
and even mark them as complete. But when I try to reorder, move to
another list, or add a task as soon as it tries to go online to back
it up (a second or two) it cashes and I get this error:
"Sorry, there has been an error. You must restart Google Tasks;
unsaved changes will be lost." And then there is a link that restarts
the app.
I have tried in Chrome for Mac, Safari, Firefox, (all on Mac) and then
also on Firefox on a PC.
The weird thing that is if I sign into another account it works fine,
so it is something with my lists…
Also, I found out just now that I can create a new list within my
tasks and add tasks there with no problem.
It is like my task lists have been corrupted or something… not cool at
all!!
So I get back to GeeTasks because that is what I use to sync up with my iPhone and iPad. I believe this all started this morning when moving tasks around in GeeTasks… I think… Anyway, when I got to GeeTasks now it won't even let me add stuff to the corrupted task lists. When I add something it just spins and spins… but if I add it to a non-corrupted list (one I have created since) it will let it add and sync up, but when I move it to a corrupted list it says that it syncs, but doesn't show up online.
Ugg… I feel like my productivity has come to a screeching halt!
Thanks for you thoughts!
