Google Tasks on iOS

In this beta:

• A pseudo-list with all tasks from all lists. You can set sort order to "Group:Date" and see everything there is to do on a given day across all lists. Note that for the first time GeeTasks gives you something that Google does not give you even on the desktop! Pro users will get this feature for free, Std users will not be getting this feature for now, but later it will be sold as a part of "power-user pack" upgrade. The pseudo-list does not allow moving/indenting tasks, I'll see if it gets requested much.
• Complete rewrite of the login code. Please try signing in and be mindful of any problems or hiccups you see in this area.
• Minor tweaks to icons (checkboxes, plus sign etc). The app is now 100% retina-friendly, which required me taking out the custom spinner and restoring the standard one.

Instructions:

1. You must be officially registered to participate in the Beta, otherwise it won't work. Shoot me an email if you want to join (no promises though).
2. Download GeeTasksPro-b.24.10.ipa and drag-drop it to iTunes
3. Download GeeTasks_Pro_AdHoc.v16.mobileprovision and drag-drop it to iTunes. You can skip this if you've done it before.
4. Sync iTunes with iPhone/iTouch. If you are normally pick-and-choosing which apps to sync make sure to pick GeeTasksPro so it syncs down to the device.
5. Ta-Da!

Haven't commented in a while but here are my comments for the last few betas. Sorry to post right after you submitted a new update, but you can just consider these for the next update.

1) belated huge thanks for reversing the order of multiple entries. :)

2) I love the new graphics, but in a way they raise the standard, so that little details can detract more. At least for me, it triggers some kind of OCD instinct. Mostly with pixel spacing issues. To be specific:

a) The larger version of the "check-circle" graphic seems to be exactly the same size as the plus symbol at the top, next to "add a new task." So it looks strange if it isn't perfectly aligned, which it isn't in the smallest row height before you switch to the small circles. (Frankly, I'd consider making that next-smaller size the default - it looks good, and it fits more info - but that's another story.)

b) Even in the default row height, my eye might be deceiving me, but the checkboxes look like they're a tiny bit to the left of the "plus circle". If that's true, you should fix it; if not, I'd suggest changing the size of one of those graphics, so that other people don't have the same reaction of feeling like it needs to align. At least, you should left-align the "add a new task" text with the text of tasks below. (Glad I don't have to say that last sentence out loud.)

c) Even the plus circle seems a tad higher than center-aligned in the "add a new task" row.

3) The "processing" animation when you check or uncheck an item is jarringly low res given that it directly switches to and from lovely retina graphics. Also, it needs a small version to fit the small check-circles.

4) Little self-observation: I keep finding myself trying the pull-to-refresh gesture, originally in Tweetie and most recently added to the Facebook app. I'm not sure why I've been doing this more, but I suppose it could have to do with lacking the subtle reminder of the note about reloading, in the title bar. Not that it's unclear - it's actually clearer and more standard than before - but that standardization means it's more visually similar to other apps, which increasingly are adopting that gesture. So it would be a nice thing to add imho- and you could use the same open source implementation Facebook used. Just be sure to credit it, like they didn't. ;)

5) Maybe pointless to mention - I'm sure you're working on it - but fast app switching support will be sweeeet.

I'm liking the pseudo list although I find I keep forgetting about it and don't use it much.
Been crunching away at it for the last two weeks using it normally and haven't had any issues.
