v1.22 - Tasks still disappear. New uncompleted task bug?

Was just able to download v1.22. Thank goodness for the speedup on my 3G!!! When I drag tasks on one list to re-order them, they still disappear. Though them come back if I close and restart GeeTasks.

Also, the badge of uncompleted tasks appears to be updating at sync, however the Lists view shows all 0/x even though there tasks due. New bug?

The disappear on drag task problem is timing related, and iOS4 on the iPhone 3g is dog slow, so I wouldn't be surprised with this outcome. I could tweak the timing some more, I suppose…

There is a bug with the task counter in the list title, it now only works for "due tomorrow", "due before Monday", and "due within 7 days" and it shows zero otherwise. Previously it ha also shown count of tasks due today or earlier in all other cases, but not it just shows zero in those cases, which is not very helpful of course. I just fixed it in the beta 24-8.

I'm not complaining. The performance improvement had brought GeeTasks back to life on my 3G. It would, of course, be nice if the tasks appeared in all circumstances.

Thanks for the update. I can switch to the "Due tomorrow or before" setting as a work around until I can pick up the official release. Hopefully not too long.

The problem with disappearing tasks is that I need a 3g with a iOS4 on it in order to test and tweak timing, but I only have so many phones to work with and this configuration isn't one of them. I will add a dynamic timing option, and after next release it will be possible to adjust timing directly on your phone so that we can find the right balance.
